Job summary

Lime Recruitment is partnering with a Queensland Government organisation to recruit an experienced Change Manager for a Workplace Health & Safety project. The role supports a WHS improvement program, determines organizational impacts, and leads the change strategy across the business.

You will drive end-to-end change design and delivery, conduct impact assessments, manage stakeholders, and draft communications.

Qualifications

• End-to-end change manager experience.
• Expertise in change impact assessments and stakeholder management.
• Ability to draft and deliver clear communication materials independently.
• Able to lead with senior leaders and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the change management strategy for the WHS improvement program.
• Review recommendations to determine change and engagement requirements.
• Identify people, process and behavioral impacts of changes.
• Translate recommendations into practical initiatives with the Project Manager and WHS team.
• Develop and deliver stakeholder engagement and communication activities.
• Determine when broad campaigns or targeted engagement are needed.
• Support adoption of new WHS practices and policies.

Lime Recruitment is currently working with a Queensland Government organisation to recruit an experienced Change Manager (Workplace Health & Safety Project). In this role, you will play a key role in supporting a significant Workplace Health & Safety improvement program following an external review, determining organizational impacts, developing the change strategy, and supporting the business to implement required changes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement the change management strategy and approach for the WHS improvement program.
• Review and assess the recommendations to determine the appropriate change and engagement requirements.
• Identify and assess the people, process and behavioural impacts associated with the changes.
• Work closely with the Project Manager and WHS team to translate the recommendations into practical initiatives and delivery activities.
• Develop and deliver appropriate stakeholder engagement and communication activities.
• Determine when changes require broader communication campaigns versus more targeted and pragmatic engagement.
• Work with business leaders to support the adoption of new WHS practices, policies and behaviours.

About You:

• Proven experience as an end-to-end Change Manager with a strong balance of strategic change design and hands-on delivery capability.
• Strong expertise in change impact assessments, stakeholder management, and developing fit-for-purpose change strategies.
• Demonstrated capability in drafting and delivering clear communication materials independently without relying on Change Analysts.
• Highly pragmatic approach with the ability to right-size change and communication activities according to the level of impact.
• Strong leadership and engagement skills with experience working alongside senior leaders, People & Culture, and cross-functional teams through ambiguity and evolving requirements.
• Highly organized, proactive, and capable of driving multiple concurrent activities with limited direction.
