Job summary

Avant Mutual Group is seeking a seasoned Change & Communications Specialist to support a major Enterprise GRC transformation. This hands-on role spans change management, communications, learning and content design to help employees adopt new processes and tools.

You will craft messages, FAQs, leader packs and intranet content; translate complex changes into clear guidance; and collaborate with project teams and SMEs to ensure successful adoption and access to materials.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering change management and communications for technology or business process initiatives.
• Outstanding written communication, editing and content design skills.
• Experience creating a wide range of communication, training and guidance materials.
• Strong stakeholder engagement with leaders, project teams and SME.
• Ability to quickly understand complex information and communicate clearly.
• Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Strong MS 365 skills: Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint.
• Confident using AI-assisted content creation tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver change and communication activities aligned to project milestones and organisational readiness.
• Create engaging communications and change materials including key messages, FAQs, leader briefing packs, presentations, intranet content and stakeholder updates.
• Translate complex system, process and policy changes into clear, plain-English communications.
• Partner with project teams, subject matter experts and stakeholders to understand impacts, validate messaging and support adoption.
• Develop role-based learning materials including presentations, facilitator guides, quick reference guides, user guides, training videos and other learning resources.
• Support training coordination and delivery across a range of stakeholder groups.
• Create sustainable support materials for transition to business-as-usual operations.
• Explore practical use of AI-enabled tools to enhance learning and content development.

Governance, Risk & Resilience (GR\&R)

6-Month contract opportunity.

Help drive one of Avant's key transformation initiatives

We're looking for an experienced Change & Communications Specialist to support the delivery of a significant Enterprise Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) transformation program.

This is a hands-on role where you'll work across change management, communications, learning and content design to help employees understand, adopt and embed new processes, systems and ways of working. You'll also play a key role in improving how risk and compliance information is organised and accessed across the business.

Change, communications and stakeholder engagement

• Develop and deliver change and communication activities aligned to project milestones and organisational readiness.
• Create engaging communications and change materials including key messages, FAQs, leader briefing packs, presentations, intranet content and stakeholder updates.

• Partner with project teams, subject matter experts and stakeholders to understand impacts, validate messaging and support adoption.

Learning, training and adoption

• Develop role-based learning materials including presentations, facilitator guides, quick reference guides, user guides, training videos and other learning resources.

• Explore practical use of AI-enabled tools to enhance learning and content development where appropriate.

Risk & compliance content uplift

• Review and improve risk and compliance content across the intranet.
• Simplify navigation and improve access to policies, frameworks, standards, procedures and training resources.
• Apply content standards, structure and metadata to improve searchability and user experience.
• Support content governance activities, including ownership, review cycles and maintenance recommendations.

What You'll Bring

Essential experience

• Experience delivering change management and communications for technology, transformation or business process initiatives.
• Outstanding written communication, editing and content design skills.
• Experience creating a wide range of communication, training and guidance materials.
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills and confidence working with leaders, project teams and subject matter experts.
• Ability to quickly understand complex information and communicate it in a clear and practical way.
• Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Strong Microsoft 365 skills, particularly Word, PowerPoint and SharePoint.
• Confidence using AI-assisted content creation tools to improve efficiency and quality.

Desirable Experience

• Experience within Risk, Compliance, Financial Services, Insurance or another regulated environment.
• Exposure to GRC platforms, governance frameworks or enterprise system implementations.
• Knowledge of change management methodologies and adult learning principles.
• Experience using user feedback or analytics to improve content effectiveness and engagement.
