Job summary

Recruitment Hive is seeking a Change Analyst to join our client, an independent statutory agency, in Sydney, Australia. The role focuses on leading change management for IT projects, delivering training, and engaging stakeholders across levels to ensure successful adoption of new processes.

Familiarity with ADKAR or Prosci, agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban), and relevant certifications (CCMP, Prosci) is preferred.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in managing change within IT projects or software development.
• Experience designing and delivering training programs to support change initiatives.
• Familiarity with ADKAR or Prosci change management methodologies.
• Ability to engage stakeholders at all levels, including senior leadership.
• Certifications such as CCMP, Prosci and agile change.
• Experience working in Agile project environments (Scrum/Kanban).
• Knowledge of industries such as finance, healthcare, or telecom.

Responsibilities

• Deliver change management and program outcomes on schedule and within budget.
• Engage with stakeholders to conduct detailed change impact assessments.
• Identify and mitigate resistance to change using proactive strategies.
• Report on change impact and identify overlapping areas and gaps; drive continuous improvement.
• Identify reputational risks related to Communications, Media and Marketing and support mitigation.

Our client, an independent statutory agency supporting hundreds of thousands of Australians living with significant and permanent disability, along with their families and carers, is seeking an experienced Change Analyst to join their team.

Duties of the Change Analyst

• Delivering change management and program outcomes on schedule, within budget and aligned with organisational goals and objectives;
• Effectively engaging with stakeholders to conduct and deliver detailed and accurate change impact assessments;
• Identifying and mitigating resistance to change using proactive strategies and interventions;
• Understanding and reporting on change impact as well as identifying overlapping areas and gaps, continuous improvement plans and strategies;
• Identify and elevate any concerns or reputational risks associated with Communications, Media and Marketing activities and support the mitigation of these risks.

Skills and Experience Required

• Proven experience in managing programs and associated change within software development or IT projects, including planning, executing, and evaluating change management activities.
• Experience in designing and delivering training programs to support change initiatives;
• Familiarity with established change management methodologies such as ADKAR or Prosci. And basic understanding of software development processes and technologies to effectively communicate with technical teams;
• Demonstrated ability to engage and manage stakeholders at all levels, including senior management, project teams, and end‑users.
• Certifications such as Certified Change Management Professional (CCMP), Prosci and agile change;
• Experience working in Agile project environments and familiarity with Agile frameworks such as Scrum or Kanban;
• Knowledge of the specific industry in which the organisation operates, such as finance, healthcare, or telecommunications.
