Job summary

ACCIONA is leading a regional project in Melbourne to drive Chain of Responsibility compliance for heavy vehicle transport. The role sits in the project office, reporting to the Director, Health and Safety, and focuses on establishing robust CoR frameworks and conducting audits across transport operations with contractors and regulators.

You will develop procedures, lead awareness training, and ensure fatigue, load restraint, mass and dimension controls are managed to sustain a safe transport

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in logistics, transport or related field
• Strong knowledge of Heavy Vehicle National Law and CoR duties
• Experience on infrastructure, construction or resource projects
• Audit, investigation and contractor compliance experience
• Current driver licence and Construction Induction (White Card)

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain CoR compliance frameworks, procedures and management plans
• Monitor compliance with Heavy Vehicle National Law and contract requirements
• Audit transport providers, subcontractors and logistics activities
• Manage CoR risks, including fatigue, load restraint, mass and dimension controls
• Investigate transport incidents and breaches and coordinate corrective actions
• Review transport management plans and support contractor prequalification
• Report compliance performance to project leadership and promote a safe transport culture
