Job summary

ING Bank (Australia) Limited is seeking an Executive level adviser to the Finance Functions for non-financial risk management. The role focuses on identifying, monitoring and reporting risk items, driving controls, and ensuring regulatory compliance across the CFO domain.

The candidate will partner with business leaders, apply CPS 230 and APRA standards, and use BI tools to deliver insights. Strong MS Office and data visualization skills are essential in a dynamic, global financial services

Qualifications

• Sound knowledge of finance business processes, systems and controls.
• Previous experience in a Senior Risk or Compliance role in financial services.
• Understanding of regulatory regimes: CPS 230, APRA standards, and related governance.
• Strong MS Office skills including data visualization and BI tooling.
• Experience partnering with business leaders in risk, controls or governance.

Responsibilities

• Executive level adviser to Finance Functions on non-financial risks.
• Monitor and track risk items (issues, events, audit actions) and ensure timely actioning.
• Facilitate periodic reviews to maintain risk profile and compliance.
• Drive development and monitoring of controls and due diligence for ERM.
• Provide reporting, analysis and insights to CFO-domain leaders.
• Develop end-to-end product/process expertise and advise on regulatory obligations.
