Job summary

ING is seeking a Finance Business Control Manager in Sydney to act as the CFO's first line risk partner. This newly created role provides strategic guidance on identifying, assessing and managing finance risks while ensuring compliance with regulatory obligations.

You will advise Finance functions on non-financial risks, monitor risk items, support governance and controls, and report insights to CFO leaders.

Qualifications

• Sound knowledge of finance business processes, systems and controls.
• Previous experience in a Senior Risk or Compliance role (Financial or Non-Financial) within financial services.
• Understanding of regulatory and compliance regimes including Operational Risk Management, CPS 230, APRA Prudential Standards.
• Knowledge of Sarbanes-Oxley requirements is highly desirable

Responsibilities

• Executive level adviser to all Finance Functions on non-financial risks.
• Monitoring and tracking non-financial risk items (issues, events, audit actions).
• Facilitating periodic reviews to maintain risk profile and regulatory compliance.
• Driving teams in development and monitoring of controls and due diligence for ERM.
• Providing reporting, analysis and insights to CFO-domain leaders.
• Developing expertise in end-to-end products and processes supporting the CFO-domain
