Cocoon Early Learning Centre Kareela is seeking an Early Childhood Educator holding a Certificate III or Diploma. Join a warm, family-owned centre in Kareela, NSW, with play-based learning and small, themed rooms. Full-time, part-time or casual roles available.

You'll work across four rooms with supportive leaders, deliver planned activities, and maintain health and safety standards while building strong relationships with families.

Qualifications

• Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care.
• Valid NSW Working with Children Check (WWCC).
• Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis training.
• Child Protection / Child Safety training certificate.
• Warm, reliable and team-focused approach with young children.
• Trainees studying Diploma or Cert III in Early Childhood Care are welcome.

Responsibilities

• Supporting meals, sleep times, hygiene and personal care.
• Helping plan and deliver play-based experiences including reading, games and outdoor play.
• Following health, safety and child protection procedures.
• Observing and documenting children's learning and development.
• Building warm, professional relationships with families.

About the Role

You'll work alongside our room leaders across four rooms - Koalas (6 months-2 years), Possums (2-3), Joeys (3-4) and Kangaroos (4-5). Your day will include:

• Supporting meals, sleep times, hygiene and personal care

• Helping plan and deliver play-based experiences including reading, games and outdoor play

• Following health, safety and child protection procedures

• Observing and documenting children's learning and development

• Building warm, professional relationships with families

What You'll Need

• Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care

• Valid NSW Working with Children Check

• Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis training

• Child Protection / Child Safety training certificate

• A warm, reliable and team-focused approach with a genuine love of working with young children

• We are also open to employing trainees who are currently studying their Diploma or Cert 111 in Early Childhood Care
