Job summary

Explore & Develop Lilyfield on Norton Street seeks a Certificate III qualified educator to join our close-knit team. We embrace a slow pedagogy, valuing relationships, intentional teaching, and space for children to learn at their own pace.

This full-time role includes mentoring by an Educational Leader, collaboration with a supportive team, and opportunities to shape our curriculum through meaningful, intentional learning experiences. A rostered day off is provided each month.

Qualifications

• ACECQA-approved Early Childhood qualification.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience as an educator within an early childhood service.
• Commitment to reflective practice and professional growth.
• Confident, professional communication with children, families and colleagues.

About You

You are someone who:

• Is Certificate III qualified in Early Childhood Education.
• Has a minimum of 3 years' experience as a trained educator within an early childhood service.
• Is passionate about children's learning, development, and wellbeing.
• Enjoys collaborating with others and contributing to a strong team culture.
• Values reflective practice and is eager to continue growing professionally.
• Communicates confidently and professionally with children, families, and colleagues.
• Brings warmth, creativity, and enthusiasm to their work every day.

Essential Requirements

• ACECQA-approved Early Childhood qualification.
• Current NSW Working With Children Check.
• Current First Aid, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certification.
• Sound understanding of the NQF, EYLF, National Law and National Regulations.
• Complete a Prohibition Declaration as part of the recruitment process.
• Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident, or holder of valid Australian work rights.
