Job summary

Foundations Learning Academy in Maitland, NSW is seeking a motivated Certificate III Educator to join as a Room Assistant. This full-time role (38 hours per week, 5 days) supports learning, development and wellbeing of children within a caring team environment.

Experience is not required; a NSW Working With Children Check is desirable. Earn while you learn and grow with ongoing mentoring in a warm, inclusive setting.

Qualifications

• Certificate III qualification as an educator.
• Willing to obtain NSW Working With Children Check (WWCC).
• No prior experience required; genuine passion for Early Childhood Education.

Join Our Team – Certificate III Room Assistant

Foundations Learning Academy is seeking a motivated, enthusiastic and caring Certificate III qulaified educator to join our dedicated team in the role of a room assistant.

This is a full-time position (38 hours per week- 5 days per week)

About the Role

As a Certificate 3 Qualified Educator, you will work alongside experienced educators to:

Support the learning, development and wellbeing of children within the service.

Build positive and respectful relationships with children and families.

Assist with implementing engaging play-based learning experiences.

Help maintain a safe, clean and welcoming learning environment.

Implement the National Quality Framework and Early Years Learning Framework.

Ensure the Health and Safety of all Enrollment Children within our Service.

About You

We're looking for someone who is:

Passionate about working with young children and Child Safety/Child Protection.

Reliable, punctual and committed to learning.

Friendly, positive and enthusiastic.

Able to work collaboratively within a team.

Professional with excellent communication skills.

Willing to obtain (or already hold) a NSW Working With Children Check.

No previous experience is necessary-just a genuine passion for Early Childhood Education and a willingness to learn.
