Job summary

CARA is seeking an experienced Chief Executive Officer to lead the organisation and work closely with the Board to deliver strategic direction, high-quality services and positive outcomes for people living with disabilities. The CEO will oversee strategy, governance, financial sustainability, service quality, compliance, people and culture.

The role entails growing scale, potentially across interstate operations, mergers, and acquisitions, in an environment regulated by the NDIS.

Qualifications

• Accomplished senior executive with extensive leadership experience.
• Strong strategic, financial, business development and operational capability.
• Proven track record in leading change and continuous improvement.
• Highly developed communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• A relevant tertiary qualification and NDIS Worker Screening Check are required.

Responsibilities

• Lead the organisation and drive strategic and operational plans.
• Provide values-based leadership to the Executive team and wider organisation.
• Ensure high-quality services and NDIS compliance.
• Drive governance, risk management and financial sustainability.
• Build relationships with the Board, NDIA, regulators and sector partners.
