Job summary

Pirtek is seeking a Centre Technician for its Service & Supply Centre in Lonsdale. You will deliver consistent, high quality service to customers and develop relationships with a range of clients. Training will be provided with progression to a Mobile Service Technician, reporting to the Operations Manager.

The role emphasizes customer service, accuracy, teamwork, and safety awareness in a practical workshop setting at the Lonsdale location.

Qualifications

• Experience in delivering high quality customer service.
• Clear, courteous telephone communication.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to follow instructions precisely and safely.
• Knowledge of hydraulic/industrial hose industry is a plus.
• Mechanical background and ability to operate machinery and tools.
• Must hold a current manual drivers' license.
• Computer literacy and basic numeracy.
• Well-presented with professional grooming.
• Willingness to work as part of a team and show pride in workmanship.

Responsibilities

• Support daily operations of the Hose Service Centre.
• Learn hose assembly, machine/weld and pipe-bending procedures.
• Attend to customers’ needs at the counter and on the phone.
• Data entry and stock control duties.
• Pick-up and deliver goods as required.
