YMCA Victoria is seeking a Centre Manager for the Tarneit Early Learning Centre in Melbourne. You will lead daily operations, shape strategic development, and drive high-quality care in both long day care and sessional kinder settings.

You will manage a dedicated team, engage families, and ensure alignment with the National Quality Framework and regulatory requirements while fostering a community-focused culture across YMCA Victoria.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Early Childhood Education or similar.
• First Aid and CPR certification.
• Anaphylaxis and Asthma qualifications.
• Knowledge of the National Quality Framework and regulations.

YMCA Vic Early Learning Centres (ELC's) are safe, supportive spaces offering high quality early learning education and care for children aged six weeks to five years old.

About the role

This exciting leadership position will oversee the daily operations and strategic development of the Tarneit Early Learning Centre. It is a fantastic opportunity to develop a modern centre and a high performing team.

As a motivated and customer-focused leader, the Centre Manager will lead a highly engaged and dedicated team in the exceptional delivery of the National Quality Framework in both a long day care and sessional kinder setting.

You will experience specialist support from a diverse and caring team, as you lead community and family engagement, with children's potential at the heart of our service philosophy.

This is a full-time position with an annual salary of $106,625 + super.

About you

You will be passionate and committed to delivering a superior service for children and their parents. You will:

• Have a solid knowledge and understanding of the National Quality Framework, Victorian Early Years Framework and the Education and Care National Regulations and Act
• Showcase strong leadership abilities while supporting the local team of Educators with an emphasis on collaboration, communication, empowerment and engagement
• Possess great verbal and written communication skills and can provide parents with effective feedback and encourage them to meet with the Room Leader to discuss children’s development
• Have a natural flair in building positive working relationships with stakeholders and driving results

Qualifications & Experience

• Tertiary qualifications in Early Childhood/Children’s Services or similar
• First Aid & CPR certification
• Anaphylaxis and Asthma Qualifications
• Protecting Children - Mandatory Reporting & Other Obligations Early Childhood
• National child safety training - Foundation training
• Demonstrated leadership experience that inspires and motivates people across the function to perform to their best
• Demonstrated knowledge, skills and understanding in the implementation and ongoing management of the National Quality Framework
