Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in a leadership/management role in early childhood education and care.

• Current Blue Card and ACECQA approved First Aid qualifications.
• Completion of all 5 modules of National Child Safety training before employment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; strong customer service values.

Centre Manager/Nominated Supervisor - Wings Early Learning at Parkinson, Queensland

Wings Early Learning Parkinson is a new, purpose-built 109 place early learning centre committed to providing high-quality early education and care. We are a small group of proudly family owned and operated centres in Brisbane and the wider Ipswich region.

We will be opening in our Parkinson centre in January 2027 and are seeking an exceptional Centre Manager to lead our team during its opening phase, and beyond. The opportunity exists for you to play a pivotal role in the leadership and management of this centre and its foundation team.

Responsibilities

As the Centre Manager/Nominated Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the centre, leading our team of Educators and ensuring that our centre meets all legislative and quality standards while ensuring a supportive work environment. You will be supported by an on-site Relationships Manager, 2IC and Educational Leader to help you in the success of the centre. In addition to this, our Senior Management team provide hands on weekly support for all of our centres.

Role Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need:

Minimum 3 years’ experience in a leadership or management role within an early childhood education and care setting – ideally a larger service such as this one. Experience in leading a centre opening will be an advantage.

A minimum of a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or Bachelor of Early Childhood Education

A current Blue Card and ACECQA approved First Aid qualifications

Have completed all 5 modules of the National Child Safety training prior to employment

Excellent communication, interpersonal skills and value customer service

A passion for providing high-quality care and education to children and mentoring educators

Have a long-term career view with the opportunity to grow with the business.
