Job summary

Buttercups Childcare in Western Australia seeks an experienced Centre Manager to lead a dynamic early learning centre. You will inspire staff, design a high-quality program based on Buttercups Pedagogy Standards, and build strong connections with families and the local community.

This role requires a relevant qualification, proven leadership, understanding of EYLF, NQS and Education and Care Regulations, plus First Aid, WWCC, and Police Clearance.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor of Education or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or ACECQA approved equivalent.
• Proven experience in a Centre Manager or Assistant Manager role with leadership and operational expertise.
• Deep knowledge of EYLF, NQS, and Education and Care Regulations.
• Strong leadership and mentoring abilities; excellent communication skills.
• First Aid certificate, WWCC, and Police Clearance (or ability to obtain during onboarding).

Responsibilities

• Lead, inspire, and support the centre team to deliver exceptional care.
• Design and implement a high-quality educational program based on Buttercups Pedagogy Standards.
• Foster strong relationships with families and the local community.
• Oversee recruitment and setup activities for the centre and staff.
• Ensure daily operations meet compliance and quality standards.
• Create a safe, nurturing environment that supports children's development.
• Foster a fun, inclusive, and collaborative workplace for the team.
