ANZUK Education is seeking a Centre Manager for a vibrant early childhood service in Box Hill area. You will lead from the front, drive enrolments, and cultivate strong relationships with families and the local community.

You will inspire educators, manage day-to-day operations, and collaborate with an experienced leadership team to ensure high-quality programs and service excellence in Melbourne’s eastern suburbs.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or ACECQA-approved qualification.
• Experience as Centre Director, Assistant Director or ready for next step (2IC).
• Strong leadership and people management skills; able to mentor teams.
• Experience growing occupancy, enrolment strategies or community engagement.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills; passion for high-quality early childhood education.

Join the team at a child centered and inclusive service located in the Box Hill area. We are seeking a dedicated Early Childhood Director to lead the passionate team and uphold their commitment to nurturing young minds.

An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced early childhood leader to take the reins of a beautiful long day care service located in Melbourne's eastern suburbs. This role will suit a passionate leader who enjoys balancing operational excellence with community engagement, team development, and centre growth.
The Opportunity This is more than a traditional Centre Director role.
We're looking for someone who can lead from the front, inspire educators, build strong relationships with families, and drive occupancy through exceptional service delivery and community connections.
Working closely with an experienced and supportive leadership team, you'll have the autonomy to implement strategies that strengthen enrolments, build the centre's reputation within the local community, and create a positive culture where children, families, and educators thrive.
What You’ll Be Responsible For

• Leading the day-to-day operations of the service
• Driving occupancy growth and maintaining strong enrolment numbers
• Building meaningful relationships with families and the local community
• Developing and mentoring a team of passionate educators
• Creating a positive, engaging, and collaborative workplace culture
• Supporting high-quality educational programs and practice
• Ensuring compliance with the National Quality Framework and all regulatory requirements
• Managing family tours, enrolment enquiries, and parent engagement initiatives
• Working strategically to increase the centre's presence within the local community

What We’re Looking For

• Diploma, Bachelor of Early Childhood Education, or ACECQA-approved qualification
• Previous experience as a Centre Director, Assistant Director, or experienced 2IC ready for the next step
• Strong leadership and people management skills
• A proven ability to build relationships with families and stakeholders
• Experience supporting occupancy growth, enrolment strategies, or community engagement initiatives
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• A genuine passion for delivering high-quality early childhood education and care
