Scholars Consulting Pty Ltd – Woodford QLD seeks a Centre Manager to lead Oak Tree Academy Woodford. This full-time role oversees a dedicated team, ensuring high-quality early education and care in compliance with EYLF and NQS, while fostering strong family connections.

You will recruit and develop educators, maintain excellent curriculum and centre presentation, and build local community links. WWCC, First Aid/CPR, and ongoing regulatory knowledge are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Advanced Diploma in Children's Services or Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood) required.
• Current Working with Children Check (WWCC) is mandatory.
• Current First Aid/CPR and emergency asthma and anaphylaxis training.
• Strong knowledge of regulation, EYLF and NQS is essential.

Responsibilities

• Put children and parents first by greeting and ensuring high-quality tours and orientations.
• Recruit, motivate and inspire a team of educators.
• Oversee and guide curriculum development and pedagogical documentation.
• Maintain immaculate Centre presentation inside and out.
• Interpret industry regulations including NQS and EYLF.
• Engage with local communities and networks.

Exciting Opportunity for a Manager to lead our Team at Oak Tree Academy Woodford!

Role Requirements

We are seeking a strong Centre Manager to lead the centre and its team. This will be a full‑time position, 38 hours per week, with remuneration in line with the candidates’ experience.

The successful candidate will need:

• Diploma/Advanced Diploma in Children's Services or Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood)
• a current and valid Working with Children Check
• a current first aid CPR and emergency asthma and anaphylaxis training.
• a strong understanding of regulation/legislation, plus Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS) is essential
• the ability to stay calm and considered in the face of anything
• strong team leadership abilities with experienceleading, inspiring and developing a team of professional educators

Key Role Responsibilities

• Put children and parentsfirst taking the time to greet everyone and ensure they have the best possible experience via high-quality tours and orientations
• Recruit, motivate and inspire a team of passionate educators to best practice
• Oversee and guide the highest quality of classroom curriculumand pedagogical documentation
• Ensure immaculate Centre presentation within the internal and external play spaces
• Understand and interpret the relevant industry regulations and legislation, including the National Quality Standards and Early Years Learning Framework
• Build and engage with local communities, creating strong ties and relationships with the community and surrounding networks
