First Grammar Freshwater, part of G8 Education, is seeking a passionate Assistant Centre Manager for our 117-place service. This role focuses on building and maintaining an outstanding learning environment for children aged 0–5, supported by a dedicated team and a comprehensive curriculum.

You will work in a well-equipped centre operating 6:30am–6:30pm, with opportunities to advance within G8’s network of 400+ centres and access extensive professional development resources.

Qualifications

• ACECQA approved Diploma or Bachelor in Early Childhood.
• Understanding of EYLF and NQS.
• Experience working with children aged 0–5 years.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Blue Card (Working with Children Check) in Australia.
• First Aid certificate.

We are seeking a dedicated team member with the drive to build and maintain an outstanding learning environment for our children. Our Centre is well equipped with resources and programs based on the Early Years Learning Framework curriculum, including a specialised Kindergarten program.

About Us

Our newly refurbished centre offers fresh, modern and welcoming indoor and outdoor play spaces, equipped with age-appropriate technology, quality learning resources and a range of engaging activities. At capacity, the centre caters for 117 children and operates from 6:30am to 6:30pm.

About You

• You will hold an ACECQA approved Diploma in Children’s Services or a Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood)
• An understanding of both the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS)
• Proven Educator experience within an Early childhood service (working with children 0-5 years)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• A current Blue Card
• First Aid certificate
