Job summary

Educating Kids Early Learning Centre Covella is seeking a Lead Educator to work across all rooms, supporting educators and providing leadership throughout the day. You will build positive relationships with children and families, plan engaging learning experiences, and support EYLF implementation.

You will need a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care, Blue Card, current First Aid/CPR/Asthma and Anaphylaxis certificates, and experience in lead or senior roles.

Qualifications

• Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent)
• Current Blue Card
• Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certificates
• Experience in early childhood education and care settings
• Experience in Lead or senior educator role
• Strong understanding of EYLF & National Quality Standards
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Positive, reliable and flexible attitude
• Availability to work across all shifts including opening and closing shifts

Responsibilities

• Work across all rooms of the centre as required
• Support educators and provide leadership throughout the day
• Plan and implement engaging learning experiences
• Support the implementation of EYLF
• Maintain a safe, clean and stimulating environment
• Build strong relationships with families
• Assist with routines, transitions and daily centre operations
• Step into Lead Educator responsibilities when required
• Be flexible and available to work all shifts across the centre, 5 days a week
