SEEK Australia is seeking a hands-on Assistant Director / 2IC to help prepare a new childcare centre for opening and to support its ongoing operation. This off-the-floor leadership role focuses on administration, family engagement and the Centre’s development in its early days.

You will work closely with the Director to establish systems, processes and a welcoming enrolment experience for families while also guiding the team through staff recruitment and daily operations.

Formación

• Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or higher qualification.
• Experience in a 2IC, Assistant Director, administration or leadership role within early childhood education.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Experience with childcare management systems (Xplor, Storypark) and rostering platforms.
• Solid understanding of the National Quality Framework and regulatory requirements.
• Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.

Responsabilidades

• Assist Director with setup and establishment of a brand-new centre.
• Support development of operational systems, processes and administrative procedures.
• Conduct centre tours for prospective families and assist with enrolment enquiries.
• Manage enrolments, waitlists, bookings and family communications.
• Build positive relationships with families and provide a welcoming enrolment experience.
• Assist with staff recruitment, onboarding and induction processes.
• Support daily centre administration, accounts and record management.
• Assist rostering, staffing arrangements and daily operations.
• Support compliance with the National Quality Framework, service policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with the Director to foster a positive, professional team culture.
