Job summary

ANZUK Education is seeking an experienced Assistant Director/2IC for a well-resourced early learning centre on the NSW/ACT border. You will work closely with the Director to support the team and ensure high-quality outcomes for children and families.

The role requires a Diploma or Bachelor in Early Childhood and a minimum of 3 years’ experience in the sector, with leadership experience as a Room Leader or in a similar capacity. Competitive salary with leave provisions and ongoing PD are offered.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Early Childhood Education or Bachelor of Early Childhood.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in early childhood education.
• Experience as a Room Leader or in a leadership capacity.

Responsibilities

• Support the day-to-day operations of the service.
• Mentor and coach educators to raise practice and outcomes.
• Conduct one-on-one meetings and staff appraisals.
• Support educators with professional practice and development.
• Assist with compliance and quality standards.
• Help organise centre events and excursions.
