Job summary

Central Park Early Learning Centre – Westmead NSW is seeking an Assistant Director / 2IC to join our small, family-run childcare team. The role begins part-time with potential to progress to full-time and ultimately Centre Director as the centre grows.

You'll work closely with the Centre Director, support daily operations, lead educators and help with enrolments and programming. Experience in leadership and a passion for early childhood education are valued.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or higher is required.
• Strong communication and leadership skills are essential.
• Experience leading and supporting educators and managing staff is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Support the Centre Director with daily operations and management.
• Lead, guide and support educators.
• Assist with staff rosters, compliance and centre administration.
• Conduct centre tours for prospective families and welcome them.
• Support enrolments and build relationships with families.
• Contribute to programming, QIP and continuous improvement.
• Maintain high standards under NQF, NQS and EYLF.
• Spend time on the floor assisting educators and engaging with children.
