Job summary

Little Zak's Academy in the Hunter Region of NSW is seeking an experienced Centre Director to lead a high‑performing early childhood service. You will drive culture, coach staff, and ensure quality outcomes for children and families, with relocation support for interstate candidates.

You will have real autonomy to shape the service, including ownership of the budget and strategic decisions that support your team and community.

Qualifications

• ACECQA-approved Diploma or Early Childhood Teaching Degree.
• Experience as Centre Director or Nominated Supervisor is advantageous.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Sound understanding of EYLF, NQS, National Regulations, and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead and inspire high-performing teams.
• Build a strong centre culture and positive environment.
• Coach and develop educators and leadership teams.
• Drive quality outcomes across EYLF, NQS and improvement initiatives.
• Build relationships with families and local communities.
• Manage occupancy, financial performance and centre operations.
