Job summary

Goodstart Early Learning North Mackay is seeking a Centre Director to lead and influence our North Mackay centre. You will guide teachers and educators, ensuring high-quality learning experiences in partnership with families and communities.

You will drive centre operations, development, and revenue growth while maintaining a safe, welcoming environment that supports staff wellbeing and professional growth.

Qualifications

• ACECQA approved Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or equivalent
• Experience with leading and managing change within education, health or community services
• Proven commercial acumen with financial and operational performance management

Responsibilities

• Deliver bespoke learning programs and lead a team of early learning professionals
• Build and guide a high-performing team, fostering reflective practice and continuous improvement
• Plan for the future of the centre, grow attendance and maintain a revenue-generating operation
• Oversee day-to-day operations with a child- and team-centric approach
• Deliver warm tours and orientations to families and communities

Education
