Job summary

Nido Early School Bassendean seeks an experienced Centre Director to lead a 92-place service across 6 rooms and 3 outdoor play areas. The role involves guiding a dedicated team, ensuring high-quality educational experiences, and fostering strong family engagement in a Reggio Emilia-inspired setting.

The successful candidate will hold a Diploma or higher in Early Childhood Education and Care, bring at least 2 years of leadership experience, and participate in ongoing professional development

Qualifications

• Diploma or above in Early Childhood Education and Care.
• Minimum of 2 years leadership experience.
• Valid Working with Children Check or willingness to obtain.
• Current First Aid Certificate or willingness to obtain.
• Geecko training completed.
• Strong understanding of EYLF and NQS.
• Proven ability to mentor and guide a diverse team.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance, leadership, mentorship and support to a diverse team of educators, culinary professionals, trainees and students.
• Lead and mentor the team to deliver high-quality outcomes for children and families.
• Support local families by shaping a positive, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment.

Nido Early School Bassendean is seeking an experienced and passionate Centre Director to lead our stunning, well-established, 92 place service with 6 rooms and 3 outdoor play areas. The Reggio Emilia inspired play spaces across one level, setting children’s imagination alight through engagement and discovery's lives every day while nurturing your own growth and leadership journey.

About the Service

• Caters for children from 6 weeks to 5 years old across 5 rooms and 3 beautiful outdoor play areas
• Outstanding long standing Area Manager to guide you through your career
• Walking distance to local coffee shop and opposite train station
• Utilise the Story Park platform, enriching our communication with families about their child's development and fostering a sense of active participation.
• Opening hours - 6:30am-630pm - Monday-Friday

About You
