Job summary

Reggio Emilia Early Learning Centre in Parramatta is seeking an experienced Centre Director/Manager to lead daily operations and drive educational quality.

You will mentor educators, ensure compliance with EYLF, NQS and NQF, and build strong relationships with families and the local community. This role offers leadership mentoring, ongoing professional development, and clear career progression within a supportive Head Office-led environment.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care.
• Leadership experience in an early learning or childcare service.
• Strong knowledge of the EYLF, NQS, NQF and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent communication, organisation, and people management skills.
• A proactive, hands-on approach to leadership and problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily centre operations, staffing, and team performance.
• Mentor and develop educators and Room Leaders.
• Maintain compliance with the NQF, NQS, and relevant regulations.
• Drive educational quality, EYLF implementation, and continuous improvement.
• Lead QIP initiatives and prepare for Assessment and Rating.
• Build strong relationships with families and the local community.
• Support enrolments, occupancy, and a positive workplace culture.

What You'll Be Doing

Lead daily centre operations, staffing, and team performance

What We're Looking For

Diploma or Bachelor qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care

Previous leadership experience in an early learning or childcare service

Strong knowledge of the EYLF, NQS, NQF, and regulatory requirements

A proactive, hands‑on approach to leadership and problem‑solving
