Job summary

Charley’s Group is seeking a warm, reliable Cook to join Charley’s Place Bernoth Centre, preparing nutritious meals for children aged 6 weeks to 5 years. You will work in a newly renovated early learning centre with a modern kitchen, ensuring meals meet dietary needs and safety standards.

You’ll plan weekly menus, maintain hygiene, and collaborate with Centre Director and educators to support children’s wellbeing in a nurturing environment.

Qualifications

• Experience cooking in a childcare, school, or aged care setting.
• Knowledge of allergy-safe food preparation and handling.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve healthy, child-friendly meals and snacks.
• Ensure meals meet allergy, cultural and dietary needs.
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness and hygiene in line with food safety standards.
