Job summary

Goodstart Early Learning in Goulburn is seeking a part-time cook to prepare nutritious meals for children, five days a week, with no weekends or evenings.

You’ll hold a Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or have childcare kitchen experience; NSW Working with Children Check is required. The role emphasizes safe food handling, dietary awareness, and collaboration with the Centre Director to plan menus and order supplies.

About Goodstart Goulburn:

• 76-place centre
• Walking distance to the main street and local shops in Goulburn.
• Work five days a week and provide breakfast, morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea and a late snack.

In this role, you will:

• Ensure the safety of children by preparing meals to account for special dietary requirements and allergies
• Use your creativity and organisational skills to plan the menu and order food supplies in consultation with the Centre Director
• Maintainhigh standardsof food safety by ensuring all storage, handling and preparation of food and drinks is hygienic
• Work a part-time roster of 27.5 hours per week
