Job summary

Aspire Early Education is hiring Centre Chefs for Melbourne's northern suburbs, including Aston Craigieburn, Beveridge Central and Lyndarum. This permanent part-time role starts at 25 hours per week and offers the opportunity to prepare nutritious meals for children within a supportive early learning environment.

As Centre Chef you will plan menus meeting childcare nutrition guidelines, manage food ordering and kitchen budgets, cater for dietary needs, and collaborate with educators to support

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or higher.
• Food Safety Supervisor Certificate (HLTSS00061) and Safe Food Handling Certificate.
• Previous childcare experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of children's nutritional needs and dietary requirements.
• Strong organisational, time management and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and maintain a clean, safe kitchen.
• Current Working with Children Check, First Aid Certificate, and Asthma and Anaphylaxis training.
