Job summary

Department for Education, Children and Young People in Tasmania invites applications for a Centre Assistant at George Town Child and Family Learning Centre. The role provides operation and administrative support to the CFLC team to improve access and engagement for children and families with integrated CFLC programs and services.

The position is full-time, Monday to Friday, based in George Town, North region.

Qualifications

• Current Tasmanian Registration to Work with Vulnerable People (RWVP) with a registration Status – Employment
• Tertiary qualifications and/or experience in child care, community service, health and/or education support
• A valid email address for applications and two referees (one from your current or previous manager)

Responsibilities

• Provide operation and administrative assistance to the CFLC team to improve access, participation and engagement of children and their families with a range of integrated CFLC programs and services.
• Support the CFLC team in coordinating programs and services for families with children birth to five years.

Education

Tasmanian RWVP registration (Employment)

Tertiary qualifications or experience in child care/health/education support
