Job summary

Casella Family Brands is seeking a highly organised Cellar Administrator to support day-to-day cellar operations. The role involves administrative duties, records management, and coordination of training and purchasing.

You will work closely with the Cellar Administration Manager and a fellow administrator to ensure smooth operations, with 8-hour shifts during vintage and day work outside vintage.

Qualifications

• Previous administrative experience
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• Excellent attention to detail and record-keeping abilities
• Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with a range of internal and external stakeholders
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative support to the Cellar Management team
• Maintain confidential records and filing of reports, correspondence and related material
• Maintain employee leave and training records for Cellar employees
• Liaise with training providers and support workforce training activities
• Identify and monitor training compliance requirements
• Coordinate purchasing and maintain cellar stores, PPE, and operational supplies
• Conduct stocktakes and manage inventory levels
• Coordinate bulk wine tanker receivals and dispatches, including transport documentation
• Monitor tanker movements and vintage waste removal activities
• Maintain accurate records to support payroll, compliance, and operational reporting
• Promote and support workplace health, safety, and quality standards
