Job summary

Vinarchy is inviting applications for casual winery roles in Rowland Flat, South Australia. As part of our 2027 vintage preparation, you’ll contribute to a fast-paced, hands-on team turning grapes into wine.

Roles start in early to mid‑January and run through the vintage. Experience is welcome but not essential; training is provided. We offer a team‑oriented environment, with opportunities to learn production and gain real hands-on experience.

Qualifications

• Physically fit for manual winery tasks.
• Must work well in a team and under pressure.
• Full working rights in Australia; visa holders welcome.
• Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Willingness to work long shifts across a 6-day week.

Responsibilities

• Operate presses, crushers, pumps and other winery equipment.
• Handle grape receival, crushing and juice/wine transfers.
• Perform pump overs, rack and returns, additions and fermentation support.
• Barrel work – filling, emptying, topping and cleaning.
• Record data on log sheets and cellar notes.
