Job summary

AstraZeneca Australia is seeking a Field Clinical Advisor, Cell Therapy to support oncology and immune therapies across Australia. This field-based role requires deep protocol expertise, site engagement and a passion for accelerating patient access to innovative treatments.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in health-related discipline; advanced degree preferred (PharmD, PhD, MSc, NP, MD/RN).
5+ years in clinical research, trial operations, or field-facing roles with oncology/haematology/cell therapy experience.
Strong GCP knowledge and ability to educate site staff and influence without authority.

Responsibilities

Act as protocol expert and pipeline ambassador for cell therapy trials across Australia.
Improve site readiness, patient journey, recruitment and retention.
Deliver education and training to site staff to strengthen readiness and compliance.
Collaborate with investigators and site teams to optimize eligibility pathways and enrollment.
Resolve clinical and operational challenges and lead root-cause analysis.
Translate field insights into actionable recommendations to improve site performance.
Support cross-functional teams to provide seamless site support.
