Job summary

AstraZeneca Australia is seeking a Field Clinical Advisor in cell therapy based in Melbourne or Sydney. You will act as protocol expert, support site readiness, patient recruitment and trial delivery across oncology and immune therapies.

The role requires a health-related degree and 5+ years in clinical research or field-facing roles, strong GCP knowledge, and willingness to travel nationally to support study sites and program priorities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in health-related discipline required.
• 5+ years in clinical research or field-facing trials including oncology/haematology.
• Experience in cellular therapy studies preferred.
• Ability to educate sites and influence without authority.
• Willingness to travel nationally.

Responsibilities

• Act as protocol expert and site-focused education for cell therapy trials.
• Improve site readiness and patient recruitment across Australia.
• Partner with investigators to translate eligibility into workable pathways.
• Lead root-cause analysis to reduce deviations and screen failures.
• Provide concierge-level site support across Clinical Development and Medical Affairs.
