Job summary

Richmond Valley Council is seeking a CCTV Operator to join the Water and Sewer team. The role covers CCTV van and Jetting Truck operations, mains cleaning, hydro-excavation and non-destructive digging, plus inspections and maintenance of reticulation assets.

The position is permanent full time with a 76 hour fortnight, offering salary range $67,236–$77,318 per year plus 12% super. Vaccination requirements noted; apply through the council.

About the role

The primary purpose of this position is to undertake CCTV camera van and Jetting Truck operations and carry out assigned water and sewer operational work including mains cleaning, hydro-excavation and non-destructive digging, inspections, maintenance, repair, renewal and construction of water and sewer reticulation assets as directed. The Operator will also be required to assist in Council's Inflow and Infiltration (I&I) detection and rehabilitation as necessary.

Full time: 76 hour fortnight

Salary: Range from $67,236 to $77,318 pa + 12% superannuation
