Job summary

Diocese of Lismore Catholic Schools in Port Macquarie invites applications for the Principal position at St Joseph's Primary School. This full-time, five-year renewable contract begins January 2027 and requires strong Catholic leadership and strategic vision.

The successful candidate will lead faith formation, oversee school operations, and drive high-quality teaching and learning in a welcoming, inclusive Catholic community on the NSW mid-north coast.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in Education with postgraduate qualifications at Masters level in Education Leadership (including four units of Religious Education or postgraduate studies in Theology or Religious Education).
• Recent experience as a senior leader in a school.

• Lead the school community to enact a shared vision that focuses on high-quality Catholic education for all students.
• Witness faith in action as the faith leader of the school.
• Deliver services that contribute to enabling students to achieve the fullness of life.
