RFBI’s Basin View Masonic Village is seeking an experienced Catering Officer to deliver high-quality meals for residents, ensuring compliance with food safety programs and nutritional guidelines. You will assist in meal prep, service, and maintaining a clean kitchen and dining environment, with opportunities to progress within a values-driven NFP aged care provider.

The Royal Freemasons’ Benevolent Institution (known as RFBI) is a non-for profit (NFP) organisation that has been in operation for 146 years. We currently operate 22 residential aged care villages, 20 retirement villages and a range of home and community services across NSW and ACT.

Position Information:

Reporting the Catering Supervisor, we are seeking an experienced Catering Officer who is focused on the delivery of high-quality food service to join our Basin View Masonic Village.

Your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Preparing meals that are compliant with food safety programs and recognised nutritional guidelines.
• Complying with food and safety programs and providing high quality, efficient and effective food service
• Assist in the preparation of meals and catering for special functions.
• Preparing the dining area for meal times and serving food and drinks to our residents
• Maintaining a clean work environment ensuring all cleaning and dishwashing is done in a timely manner
