Job summary

Sapphire Coast Community Aged Care – Pambula NSW is seeking a reliable, enthusiastic and caring Full-Time Catering Officer to join our team. You will assist with meal preparation, cooking and serving residents' meals in a supportive aged care setting.

Experience in aged care or commercial kitchens is preferred but not essential. We welcome applicants with a positive attitude, a willingness to learn and a passion for providing quality service, along with adherence to food safety standards.

Qualifications

• Certificate III/IV in Commercial Cookery.
• Food safety training or willingness to undertake training.
• Relevant pre-employment checks as required.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with meal preparation, cooking and serving.
• Plating meals and ensuring residents receive meals according to dietary requirements.
• Preparing and serving refreshments.
• Maintaining high standards of food safety, hygiene and cleanliness.
• Working collaboratively with the catering team to provide enjoyable mealtimes for residents.
