Job summary

Catholic Healthcare Limited is seeking casual Catering Assistants to join our Wentworth Falls team at Bodington, delivering nutritious, enjoyable dining experiences for our residents. You’ll help with meal service, maintain food safety standards, and work within a supportive, values-driven workplace.

We offer shift-based part-time hours (Mon, Thu, Fri 2.30pm-7.30pm; Tue 7am-2pm) with benefits including not-for-profit salary packaging, gym and wellbeing perks, and paid leave options.

Qualifications

• Genuine care for people with a positive, can-do attitude.
• Certificate III in Hospitality (Commercial Cookery) is desirable, but not essential.
• A genuine passion for providing high-quality care and support to older people.
• Strong communication skills and a friendly, positive attitude.
• Good knowledge of food safety, kitchen cleanliness and hygiene practices.
• Warm, empathetic interpersonal skills and the ability to connect with people from diverse backgrounds.
• The ability to establish and maintain professional and respectful relationships with residents and their families.
• An NDIS Worker Screening Check and Police Check, or willingness to obtain them.

About the role
