Job summary

Law Society of New South Wales is seeking a casual Catering Assistant to join the Catering team. The role is 65% back-of-house and 35% front-of-house, with up to 20 hours per week from Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

• Experience in food preparation with Safe Food Handlers Certificate and customer service.
• Barista skills are desirable with training offered.
• RSA accreditation required.
• Strong hygiene and food handling knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Set up boardrooms for catering and handle delivery and cleanup.
• Prepare sandwiches, salads, canapes, and basic baking.
• Make coffees, take tuck shop orders, and process payments.
• Maintain kitchen, coffee station, dining areas and boardrooms cleanliness.
• Ensure adherence to food safety standards and hygiene procedures.
• Support the wider Catering team as needed.
