Job summary

Fairview is seeking a Product Category Manager to own the strategic direction and profitability of product categories. You will collaborate with Sales to align objectives, define long-term vision, manage roadmaps, testing, and compliance, and foster strong supplier relationships to ensure supply continuity.

You will lead product training for Sales and Operations and drive data‑led decision making, partnering with Marketing, R&D and Commercial teams to deliver value and growth.

Job Description

The Role

This role is responsible for

• Strategic ownership of product categories, driving product profitability and growth while working closely with Sales to achieve business objectives.
• Setting the long‑term vision and strategy for products by understanding the product, competitors, customers and market.
• Managing product roadmaps, improvements, testing, compliance and certification requirements.
• Working across the business to facilitate completion of tasks with representatives from Sales, Marketing, R&D, Commercial and Operations.
• Building and maintaining strong supplier relationships to support sourcing, quality and continuity of supply.
• Providing product technical support and training for Sales, Operations and other business units as required.
• Data‑led and insight‑driven decision making.
