7-Eleven Australia is seeking a Category Assistant to join the Product tribe in Melbourne. You will support category management, connect with suppliers and store teams, and help maintain data, reporting and financials to drive squad objectives.

You will develop reporting processes, translate insights into actionable plans, and collaborate across internal teams to optimize category performance while supporting operational efficiency and growth.

Qualifications

• A strong numerical and data aptitude that helps you shine in reporting.
• Excellent interpersonal skills that make you a go-to person for stakeholder management.
• Problem-solving prowess and a proactive attitude that sets you apart
• Familiarity with SAP is a plus.
• A tertiary qualification is desirable

Responsibilities

• Drive category performance: Assist in executing strategies that translate sales and gross profit budgets into actionable plans.
• Data and reporting: Manage data and elevate reporting processes to distill insights and empower stakeholder decision-making.
• Financial optimization: Take ownership of category financials to ensure alignment with business goals.
• Stakeholder collaboration: Partner with internal teams, stores, and suppliers to support squad objectives and streamline processes.
