Job summary

Macmahon is seeking a workshop-based technician to perform component rebuilds on CAT engines at Perth Airport, WA. You’ll work with experienced teammates to maintain safety and efficiency, rebuilding, servicing and supporting reliable equipment performance on site.

The role requires Cert III in Mobile Plant, LF license, and CAT system knowledge, with on-site days and a choice of roster structures. Join a team that values safety, training and partnership.

Qualifications

• Australian recognised Trade Certificate (Cert III in Mobile Plant).
• High Risk Licence - LF (essential).
• High Risk Licence - DG (Advantageous).
• Proven experience working on Earthmoving Equipment.
• Experience with Caterpillar Systems (ET, SIS, VIMS).
• Ability to work as part of a team and step up when needed.
• Commitment to safe work practices and job quality.

Responsibilities

• Component rebuilds on CAT engines; strip, clean & assemble.
• Complete servicing to OEM standards and site procedures.
• Support strong equipment availability and safe, reliable performance.
• Speak-up and contribute to our culture; everyone home safe, every swing.
• Work closely with production and planning teams to schedule work.
