Job summary

Macmahon is seeking a Component Rebuilds Mechanic to perform rebuilds on final drives and transmissions at Perth Airport, WA. You will work with experienced teammates to ensure safe and efficient repairs to Earthmoving equipment.

Role requires Cert III in Mobile Plant, LF licence, and experience with Caterpillar systems. You’ll join a team focused on quality workmanship and a strong safety culture.

Qualifications

• Must hold Australian recognised Trade Certificate (Cert III in Mobile Plant).
• High Risk LF licence is essential; DG licence advantageous.
• Experience with Earthmoving equipment required.
• Knowledge of Caterpillar Systems (ET, SIS, VIMS) preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a team and uphold safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Strip, clean & rebuild components for final drives, transmissions, torque converters and differentials.
• Complete servicing to OEM standards and site procedures.
• Support equipment availability and maintain safe, reliable performance.
• Speak up and contribute to a culture where everyone goes home safe.
• Collaborate with production and planning teams to schedule work.
