Job summary

WesTrac's Engine Components team in South Guildford, WA invites experienced heavy diesel mechanics to join as specialists in rebuilding CAT engine components to OEM specifications.

You'll diagnose faults, disassemble and reassemble components, work with advanced Caterpillar tooling, and contribute to safe, quality workmanship in a collaborative workshop environment, aligned with WesTrac's SPARC Values of Safety, Pride, Accountability, Respect, and Customer.

Qualifications

• Must hold Australian recognised Mechanical Trade Certificate.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Experience completing mechanical rebuilds, overhauls, or major repairs.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble, inspect, assess, and assemble CAT engine components to OEM specifications.
• Diagnose faults and identify repair requirements.
• Work with advanced Caterpillar systems, tooling, and technology.
