Job summary

UDL Group in Melbourne is seeking a dedicated Water Truck Driver for our Construction and Estates teams. The role involves maintaining parks, gardens and streetscapes, with autonomous work and daily reporting.

Immediate start with 2+ years water cart experience preferred; MR licence, White/Red Card, and ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions are required.

Qualifications

• We require Certificate in Horticulture or at least 2 years' industry experience.
• Medium Rigid Truck Licence is essential.
• Construction Induction Card (White/Red) is essential.
• Valid Victorian Driver's Licence is essential.
• Traffic Management Certificate is an advantage.
• First Aid Certificate is an advantage.
• Stamina to work outdoors in varying weather; team attitude appreciated.
• A positive attitude and good work standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate water truck to hydrate trees, lawns and garden beds.
• Maintain parks, gardens and streetscapes in assigned areas.

About the Position

Title: Water Truck Driver

Area of Work: North - North-West Melbourne

We’re looking for a dedicated Water Truck Driver who has plant watering experience in parks and gardens. As part of a tight-knit team, our Water Truck Driver will be working within the Construction team and Estates team maintaining parks, gardens, and streetscapes.

With award winning projects in our portfolio, we are proud to have longstanding client partnerships, where we work on high profile sites providing regular programmed estate garden and open space maintenance.

This position will suit someone with 2+ years’ experience in water cart driving, presenting exceptionally for the community to enjoy. Offering autonomous work, this position is ideal for a candidate who is comfortable with using technology to report daily achievements and complete regular maintenance service logs.

Our Water Truck will be picked up and dropped off from the Epping depot.

Key Responsibilities

As a Water Truck Driver, you will be responsible for supplying adequate hydration to trees, lawns and garden beds.

All applicants must have a background in working in parks & gardens. A qualification in these fields is highly regarded.

Requirements

• Certificate in Horticulture OR at least 2 years' industry experience
• Medium Rigid Truck Licence as a minimum (Essential)

• Construction Induction Card (White/Red Card) (Essential)
• Valid Victorian Driver's License maintained for this position (Essential)
• Traffic Management Certificate (Advantage)
• First Aid Certificate (Advantage)
• Physical stamina and ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
• A positive attitude, great work standards, and easy-going personality to work as part of a team
