Job summary

VetPartners is seeking a Casual Veterinary Nurse for the My Pet Hub Redlynch clinic. The role involves assisting veterinarians, monitoring and caring for patients, and helping with surgery preparations in a busy, supportive environment.

The successful candidate will have at least 1 year of Vet Nurse experience with a Cert IV and be reliable, organised, and capable of handling a variety of animals. Teamwork and excellent client communication are essential for daily clinic operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year Vet Nurse experience with a Cert IV qualification.
• Reliable and organised with ability to work well in a team.
• Calm under pressure and willing to assist in all clinic areas.

Responsibilities

• Assisting veterinarians with consultations, procedures, and treatments
• Patient care including monitoring, handling, and hospital care
• Preparing patients for surgery and assisting with surgical procedures
• Administering medications and treatments under veterinary direction
• Collecting samples and performing in-clinic nursing tasks
• Maintaining accurate patient records
• Client communication and high level of customer service
• Cleaning, stocking, and maintaining a safe and organised clinic environment
• Supporting the team to ensure smooth daily clinic operations
