Peninsula Veterinary Surgery in Queensland is seeking a compassionate, motivated Veterinary Nurse to join our clinical team in a full-time capacity.

You will support veterinarians across clinical and surgical cases, performing nursing and reception duties to keep the clinic running smoothly in a busy practice.

Qualifications

• Qualified Veterinary Nurse with Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing or equivalent.
• Experience in small animal clinical practice preferred.
• Confident in anaesthetic monitoring and surgical assistance.

Responsibilities

• Surgical nursing assistance, including anaesthetic monitoring and patient recovery.
• Patient handling, restraint, and pre- and post-operative care.
• Medication administration and inpatient care.
• Assisting with diagnostic imaging and laboratory work.
• Maintaining accurate clinical records.
• Client communication and education.
• General reception and front-of-house support when required.
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised clinical environment.
