Job summary

City of Parramatta is seeking a skilled venue operations professional to manage the production, logistics and technical aspects for events, meetings and conferences, including customer-facing and back-of-house operations. The role requires rostered shifts across 7 days, including after hours and weekends.

Casual shifts are not guaranteed; employment is casual with an hourly rate from AUD 63.66 plus 25% casual loading and 12% superannuation.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in senior venue/production management.
• Ability to meet WHS and statutory requirements for large-scale events.
• Strong project and time management skills and ability to autonomously manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead operational, technical and production delivery of events and exhibitions.
• Manage venue bookings and scope logistics, fees and services.
• Lead and develop staff, contractors and suppliers with clear oversight.
• Manage budgets, contracts, risks and WHS compliance.
• Build stakeholder relationships and drive continuous improvement.
