Job summary

NSW Health's Sydney Local Health District is recruiting casual Undergraduate Assistants in Nursing to support nursing teams across Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, Concord Hospital, Canterbury Hospital and Mental Health Services.

You must be in the first or second year of a Bachelor of Nursing, have two completed university semesters, and hold Australian work rights; the role is supervised by a Registered Nurse and offers hands-on experience in acute care while you study.

Qualifications

• Must be in first or second year of a Bachelor of Nursing and provide evidence of two completed university semesters.
• Must have valid Australian work rights.
• Must have completed a clinical placement in an acute hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Work within a nursing plan of care under the supervision and direction of the Registered Nurse (RN).
• Assist with patient care tasks and support nursing staff across SLHD facilities.
