Job summary

CALHN is hiring for an Assistant in Nursing in a casual pool across Adelaide sites. You will support patient care, assist with nursing duties, and learn under guidance while you complete your nursing studies.

This role suits students enrolled in an approved nursing program who have completed at least the first year and hold Ahpra student registration. Expect mentorship, diverse clinical exposure, and opportunities to balance study and work.

Qualifications

• Be currently enrolled in an approved nursing program leading to registration as a Registered Nurse.
• Have completed and passed at least the first year of your nursing degree by commencement date in 2027.
• Hold current student registration with Ahpra.
• Complete CALHN training for safe and competent practice.
• Meet SA Health employment requirements in the role description.
